Cold-pressed oil is a natural oil extracted by grounding and pressing the seeds without adding chemicals and preservatives. The seeds are sun-dried and placed in wood press machine or expeller for grounding and pressing. The oil extracted is then filtered using cotton cloth.

The bi-product of this process is cake (called as ‘chekka’ in telugu). It is used to feed cattle.

Cold-pressed oils are direct extract of seeds with no chemical intervention. The texture of these oils is thick with its natural taste and aroma.

Normal oils are refined by adding various chemicals and preservatives. The texture of these oils is thin or transparent that looks like water.
